This session will provide an overview of the promise and challenge involved in implementing personalized medicine. It will highlight how recent technological advancements are driving fundamental changes in the way we think about health and wellness. Educators will learn how genetic data are generated and analyzed and how genomics can inform clinical decision-making. They will also hear about an on-going research study aimed at identifying the best practices for the delivery of genomic information in the clinic.
