Discovering the Genome (DtG) seeks to provide relevant and engaging material that teachers can use easily in any classroom with computers and internet access. The DtG Project's goal is to help increase genomics literacy through the broad dissemination of educational resources that tap into the excitement and creativity of the discovery process motivating researchers in the genome sciences. The project was conceived at the University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Genome Frontiers Institute and is now based at Penn’s Nano/Bio Interface Center.
Funding for the DtG Project has been generously provided by Arthur Vining Davis Foundations.
